Welcome to Crystallographic Resources Inc, formed in 2006 to provide full service capabilities which are needed to determine the three dimensional structure of molecules and solids from single crystal samples. The company was formed by Dr. Richard Staples who has been in the field for over 22 years.

The laboratory can handle all types of single crystals and these are evaluated using a stereozoom polarizing microscope. Determination of crystal quality, which includes 1 hour of instrument time, is free of charge. Diffraction Details: Mo radiation (0.7103) and Cu radiation (1.54), sealed tube, CCD detector, Low temperature data collections are standard.

Additional X-ray Crystallographic services are offered by Crystallographic Resources, Inc. We offer recrystallization service. We can grow your crystal at a nominal charge so that you do not have to grow it yourself. The facility will attempt to grow single crystals using standard crystallization methods for your small molecule of interest. The success of the recrystallization is dependant on the compound’s ability to crystallize and the amount of material supplied. Another service offered is consulting for various crystallographic related matters. Minimum is 15 mg.
